Weddings
See the light, sense the awe, chase the wonder.
You will have an image of exactly what you want on your wedding day and we are here to help realise that.
Its exciting to be a part of your day. To become an honorary member of the family for the time I am with you. The day goes by so quickly and its good to be part of the arrangements right from the start.
On the day I like to work with you closely letting you know what is happening just before it happens. At other times you'll forget I am there.
The portraits are a big part of the day. Its a great space for the bride and groom to get away from the crowds and get some time together. Its when the best photos happen.
Remember its all about seeing that light in a moment, sensing the awe of it and then capturing the wonder of that moment while also pursuing the beauty of the day.

About
I believe that when you can do something for good, the you should use every opportunity you have to do it.
In August 2010 I went out to a town called Bekoji in Ethiopia with an organisation called Kids Alive. I had of course brought my camera. It was a life changing experience. I was also of some use.
Being able to make an impact by getting right in to the middle of the people lives and taking an interest in the stories deeply affected the way I wanted to use my photography.
This was for me worth developing my photography skills for.
Having images which the charity could use to great effect in posters and presentations, helped to push the organisation forward.
It changed my attitude to what I needed and what I wanted.
I have continued over the last few years to photograph for Kids Alive (now Stand By Me) and now for Jengana makinga few trips in the last 7 years.
You can never undo what you see, some images are burnt into my memory. This one from Kenya is a women running gratefully for a jam sandwich and a carton of milk.
